Nascar Birthday Cake

My hubby asked me to make a cake for one of his co-workers, and it was to be a Nascar cake.  I don't have much knowledge of Nascar, so while I was looking online I noticed that majority of Nascar vehicles are multi-coloured.

I did a very similar model from that of Mcqueen, but without the headlights.  I am not 100% sold on the cake, I think if I had not had a 2 year old constantly interrupting (and also tasting - yes, he took 2 chunks out of the cake - thankfully I was able to fill it in with icing) that the shape would have been more true....
