#40bags40days - Update Week 4

Welcome to the #40bags40days Week 4 update!  I am happy to say that I was able to get back on track this week!  Tackling the basement has been a BIG project.  My laundry area is there, and the space surrounding it is where I end up putting things that don't have a place.  There were toys, books, outgrown clothes and supplies for my Norwex business.

Basement Before
It was a little overwhelming, and I wasn't really sure where to start.  I ended up grabbing a bag and looking over the piles - anything I saw that needed to go into the garbage went into the bag.  I ended up needing two bags for the garbage (and that is just to start)

I found a few different piles of craft supplies we aren't going to use...so I gathered them up into a bag and listed it on our local Buy Nothing site.

Next up was to gather all the kids old shoes that were strewn around in different places (some tucked into rubbermaid bins, others on the floor under the table).  They will also be listed on the Buy Nothing site to pass on to another family.

While I was searching for shoes, I came across 2 baskets I had used when I did home parties for my Norwex business.  Since I no longer do parties, I decided to offer up the baskets on the Buy Nothing site.  It's so nice to know that I have items that can be useful to someone else, instead of going in the garbage.

I was also able to grab a bunch of stock from my Norwex kit and sell it off - so that equals 1 more bag out of the area.

Hidden underneath a lot of the above items, I came across some more shoes, books and an old windbreaker that the boys wore....more items to pass on.

I spent quite a bit of time down there to gather up these 7 bags, and I am nowhere near done.
