Winterlude 2015

I always look forward to February (it's my wedding anniversary) but also because it means that Winterlude comes to Ottawa!  January 30th - February 16th 2015 will see the festival back again for the 37th edition!

Skating on the canal, ice sculptures at Confederation park, Snowflake Kingdom at Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau, there is something for everyone!  One of my favourite things about Winterlude is enjoying a nice, hot beaver tail while walking around looking at the sculptures!

I haven't been skating on the Rideau Canal in over 20 years, but I still hope to get out (maybe I will this year!)

If you are an Ottawa native, then I am sure you have experienced all the fun of Winterlude at some point in your life!  If not, try this year.  For those that are not in the Ottawa area, it's worth the trip!
