Christmas Gift Ideas For The Family

Christmas will be here before we know it. Black Friday and Cyber Monday have happened, and there are 21 shopping days left until Christmas Day.

I don't know what you are like, but I try and avoid the malls and stores as Christmas gets closer. I like to have everything out of the way and focus on my home and family as it draws near.

Great Gift Ideas For Teachers

At this time of year, parents are racking their brains and searching the stores to try and find the perfect gifts. Gifts for their children, their parents, siblings and also for teachers, daycare providers and bus drivers.

DK Canada Gift Boutique

This year for Christmas I was stuck on what to get my nephew (soon to be 7 years old). I figured I would get him lego, but I wasn't sure what exactly to get.  I was browsing the DK Canada website and saw their gift boutique.  I had a look around to see if anything piqued my interest and came across this great Lego brickmaster set.  It is geared for children 7 and up

It comes as a story with the accompanying Lego bricks to build the characters IN the story.  It seemed really neat, and I am hoping that he likes it!

Lego Brickmaster Cover

neat tips throughout the book to help them

Instruction for building the characters laid out step by step

Will you be buying any Lego this Christmas? Who will it be for?

Disco Fun with Playmobil

Playmobil Summer Fun Disco (5266) - ARV $42.99

The Playmobil Summer Fun Disco set arrived earlier this week. When I opened the package, I was met with a bright, colourful box.  The set contains 57 pieces, and is not meant for young children (lots of small pieces)

BeyBlades - Samurai Cyclone Battle Set from Hasbro

3 - 2 - 1... Let It Rip!

Are you familiar with that statement? I had no idea what it was when ODS first came home saying it. I quickly found out it was a Beyblades thing.....I had heard of Beyblades prior, but had no idea it would be such a big thing in our house.

Playskool Heroes Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Rescue Trailer

Mr. K has been pretty obsessed with Rescue Bots since we found the tv show on Netflix.  It is the first thing he wants to watch during his tv time (sometimes the only thing). His favorite character is Heat Wave, and he even wanted to be a fireman/firetruck for Halloween because of it.
