Playskool Heroes Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Rescue Trailer

Mr. K has been pretty obsessed with Rescue Bots since we found the tv show on Netflix.  It is the first thing he wants to watch during his tv time (sometimes the only thing). His favorite character is Heat Wave, and he even wanted to be a fireman/firetruck for Halloween because of it.

With his great love of Rescue Bots, I went on the search for toys that he could receive at Christmas.  I was thrilled when I found Playskool Heroes Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Rescue Trailer  from Hasbro.

When I was in contact with Hasbro, they agreed to send me one for Mr.K! When it arrived, I opened the packaging and got set putting it together.  It says on the box adult assembly, no tools required.  In all honesty, the hardest part of putting it together was getting the stickers in the correct spots (I am HORRIBLE with that, and normally leave it to my hubby).

The pieces for the trailer come apart and they snap together easily (for an adult, Mr. K wouldn't be able to do it). Optimus as a robot comes already put together.  The trailer snaps onto Optimus and you have yourself a 17" semi-truck that can carry up to 4 rescue bots vehicles (these are items that are sold separately).  On his own, Optimus Prime stands 10" tall; if you wanted to change him a little, you can reconfigure the trailer into wings, and add them to Optimus to turn him into a jet.  The recommended ages for this toy are 3-7 years old.  It can be found at local retailers that carry toys (Target, Real Canadian SuperStore, Walmart and Toys R Us) ARV $39.99

  3. Your boys are so cute! I love those "at the door" photos when they're ready to go trick-or-treating. My son loves Transformers and would have lots of fun with that toy. I love toys that are easy for mom to Transform!

  4. I like putting stickers on too. They aren't always straight but I don't have patience so it's the best it's going to get! I've not seen that show but looks cute.
