Hands on Fun For Kids At Canada Science and Technology Museum

Growing up, my grandfather used to take us to the Canada Science and Technology Museum a lot. It was always fun to see the trains, walk through the crazy kitchen and see "older" models of everyday items we were used to using.

As I grew up I knew that I wanted to share those same experiences with my kids, and we were incredibly lucky to visit the museum just a few short weeks before they announced it would be closed for major renovations.

This past weekend I was fortunate to be included in a media preview for the new Zooom Children's area at the museum. The kids had a lot of fun checking out the space and all the cool hands on features it includes.

  3. I know there will be lots of cool new things, but my kids just wanted reassurance that the trains will still be there - they love them! We are especially looking forward to the new outdoor park - do you know if it will be open in November as well, or will they wait until Spring to complete it?

    1. Thanks for entering Lynn! The outside train is still there, but we did not get to see the whole museum so I am not sure about the indoor section. AS for the park, I am not aware of when it will open. It looks like a lot of fun though. Good luck!
