We ran into Chip and Dale as we were making our way to the Journey Into Imagination with Figment, did The Seas with Nemo and Friends and walked around looking through the large aquarium.
We finished up and walked through the World Showcase. The kids were hot and tired at this point, so we didn't do much looking while we were there. We had a goal of heading to Japan so that we could find out what Mr. J's hat said (turns out, it says Karate). On our way, we stopped in France and had our picture taken with the Eiffel Tower in the background and then we watched a quick show outside of a restaurant. They stacked chairs on top of champagne bottles and climbed them!
If you are at EPCOT, be prepared for a lot of walking. Our kids really had no interest in the World Showcase and we really only needed a few hours in the park. Our time at EPCOT was a great reminder that we need to be prepared while in the parks and make sure to stop for food and have plenty of water. We really pushed our kids while we were there, and it was too much. We definitely should have left after the aquarium - they were hungry, cranky and tired.
When we finished in Japan, we headed back to the hotel. Mr. K took a much needed nap, and hubby and Mr. J went over to the arcade at the Contemporary.
When Mr. K woke up, I took him to the arcade, and then we went back to the room to watch the SuperBowl!
I just love the photos, the kids must have been walking on air with excitement
ReplyDeleteI miss Disney we used to go all the time as kids, now since my gmom passed we barely go anymore, but Epcot wasn't my favorite though as a kid.

ReplyDeleteWe've been to Disney a few times, and Epcot is always the park we spend the less time there. My husband has a goal of walking and eating through the World Showcase there.... But the kids always manage to thwart his plans...
