Wordless Wednesday - Lilac Blooms

A little late, but our first blooms on our lilac tree

  1. Love the smell of lilacs. I'm always so sad that they only last a short time each year. Have to suck up the sweet smells while we can.

    1. me too; we have them in our backyard - when a nice breeze comes up the smell carries and it's wonderful

  2. I love the smell of Lilacs. I used to have some lilac trees when I lived in the country. I really miss the flowers and their lovely scent.

  4. Along the beach blvd where I live there are old growth lilacs that have been here for over 100 years. Still fragrant as ever but diminishing numbers since more and more houses are being built

  6. I LOVE the smell of Lilacs. We have two trees in our front yard and if we open our windows, the smell of them comes right into our home. Smells DIVINE!
