Along the beach blvd where I live there are old growth lilacs that have been here for over 100 years. Still fragrant as ever but diminishing numbers since more and more houses are being built
I LOVE the smell of Lilacs. We have two trees in our front yard and if we open our windows, the smell of them comes right into our home. Smells DIVINE!
Love the smell of lilacs. I'm always so sad that they only last a short time each year. Have to suck up the sweet smells while we can.

me too; we have them in our backyard - when a nice breeze comes up the smell carries and it's wonderful
