Baking Fail

I decided to make Peanut Butter Blossom cookies today. It has been many many years since I made them, so I had to go searching for a recipe. I found one that seemed easy, and looked delicious.



When you make Peanut Butter Blossom's, you roll the cookie dough into a ball and bake. When you take them out of the oven, you place a hershey's kiss on the top of each cookie, and then remove to a rack to cool.

However, almost ALL of my kisses melted...they should get slightly soft, but still hold their shape - not today. I only have a few that did hold their shape, so I have no idea what happened....it's a good thing they taste delicious, and are only for us so the look doesn't really matter.
