the things they say (or how they interpret what WE say)

Yesterday afternoon I had to get Jules out of the house. He was cranky, overtired and just needed to let out some of his energy.

So I decided to put Kyle in the buggy and the 3 of us walked over to the park. Before we left, I had a little chat with Julien about how he had to stay near mommy, and he couldn't go more than 5 feet in front of me. He got wide eyed, looked at me and said "mommy, I don't have 5 feet, I only have 2 feet - you didn't know that?"

It cracked me up so much - sometimes I forget how literal kids actually are!
