May 16th Monday Madness Giveaway Linky

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend.  The weather wasn't super around here, but the rain did hold off on Saturday for us to do some work outside at my mothers house.  Last night Mr. K started soccer - it went great, even though it was freezing cold.

Let's All #FlippForMoms This May {giveaway}

May is here, and with it brings Mother's Day!  It's a day I look forward to every year. Seeing what my kids have created for me, and spending time with my mom is always a lovely day.

This year started off with breakfast in bed (even though Mr. K ate half of it) and then we took a lovely walk and I went out for a few hours with my mom, aunts and cousins.
The day finished off with a delicious dinner hubby bbq'd and an ice cream cake the boys picked out for me.

May 9th Monday Madness Giveaway Linky

Welcome to the Tales of Mommyhood Giveaway Linky! I hope that all the Mothers had a terrific Mothers Day. I sure did!  The boys *surprised* me with breakfast in bed (I was given instructions before they went to bed Saturday to stay in bed until they came to see me).  They both had beautiful cards they had made at school, and a nice card from hubby too!

Grass Stains Make Me Happy

Grass stains make me happy.  It may seem like an odd statement to make, but it's true.  When my kids are outside playing soccer, climbing trees, riding bikes and skateboards or making up games about sharks - I love to see it.  Those all come with tumbles and rolls on the grass, but it's part of childhood.
