Cake decorating is a hobby that I have loved since I was a little girl. When I was 9 years old, I remember decorating my first cake, all by myself. Before that, my mom would help me.  I made many in my teens, and absolutely could not wait to have kids - so that I could make their birthday cakes.  I don't sell them, but if a friend or family member asks me to make one, then I will for them.

The most recent cake I made was for my cousins daughter, who was Christened on the weekend! It was fun making this one, and I even taught my mother a technique (the rose swirl on the cupcakes)! Normally it's her helping me :)

To get the rose swirl, you use a Wilton 1M tip. Start from the center of the cupcake and work your way outwards.

    1. Hello, they are regular sized cupcakes, but I do not remember the size of board (I think we had to tape 2 together)
