Our second week of summer was quite peaceful. Mr. J left for a week of sleepover camp on Monday morning. I took Mr. K and my niece swimming that afternoon, and then home for dinner and some play time.
Mr. K and I went to an indoor play center with my cousin and her 2 year old on Tuesday, and spent the afternoon with friends by their pool.
Wednesday he and I went to the pool for a few hours, and then home to build lego.
Thursday we did 2 bike rides (a short one in the morning, and a longer one through the trails in the afternoon), and then he went to the Ottawa RedBlacks game with his dad that evening.
Friday morning we spent 3 hours at the pool, and then home for more lego and to watch a movie.
He went with his dad to soccer that night, while I picked up Mr. J and my nephew from camp. They had a great time, and I was happy to hear that even though he was limited with what he could do (bad road burn from a skateboard wipe out the Friday before leaving for camp), it didn't stop him from having fun.
Saturday Mr. J had karate and then went to see the Ottawa Fury FC game with his dad, and we all had dinner to celebrate my father in laws birthday.
