Sabra Helps With Those Lunchbox Blues


If you have school aged children, then you are probably quite familiar with how daunting packing lunches daily can be. Coming up with simple, nutritious meals that the kids will like isn't always easy.

 Sabra wants to give you a hand with a few ideas that will help to increase protein and taste! With several hummus flavours to choose from, you are sure to find one that suits your child's taste buds.


For me, I love to spread the original hummus on a wrap, then add in lettuce, cucumber, tomato and chicken or turkey. As a snack, I enjoy dipping fresh veggies in the roasted red pepper hummus!

Sabra hummus starts off with chick peas, tahini, and garlic. Other bold flavours are added in after to make the great tasting dips that are available.

    I've tried (and loved) most Sabra hummus flavours. But I haven't seen the Jalapeno yet in my local store. That's definitely on my must-try list.

    I love the original flavour. It's so smooth and creamy.
    The garlic doesn't overwhelm me like some other brands do.

    I have always loved the Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus (I love garlic in general), but have to be careful when and where I eat it. I would love to try the Sabra Basil Pesto Hummus (never seen that one before on the shelves).
