I publish a summer bucket list every year, but don't normally do one for fall. With school back in session, we don't have the same amount of free time, but I thought this year I would put some things down that we normally do - and I hope to this year as well.
- Apple Picking - we normally go to Mountain Orchards, but I don't think we will make it out there this year. I hope to take them to one of the ones a little closer.
- Baking Apple Crisp - I make apple crisps and pies every fall, and then freeze them to have over winter.
- Saunders Farm - we go in the summer for outdoor fun, but in the fall they make it spooky. Hoping to get there at least once before Halloween.
- Pumpkin picking and carving - we don't go to a patch to pick our pumpkins, but the place we go to has a huge selection already picked for families to choose from.
- Walk through the forest - I love walking in a forest with the changing leaves. There is something about the crisp air (not right now though) and the sound of leaves crunching as you walk through them.
What types of activities do you make sure to do with your family in the fall?
Looking forward to hitting up the nature trails over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteFall is my absolute favorite season. Hot apple cider, pumpkin spice lattes, fresh air, beautiful trees, sweaters, toques and Halloween!
