A few weeks ago the kids and I sat down to create our summer bucket list. It's something we do each year, and while we know that we may not cross everything off our list, it just gives us some ideas of what we want to do with their time off school.
The first week of summer has come and gone, and we have made a pretty decent start with items on our bucket list! Keep in mind that just because they are crossed off, it doesn't mean we won't do them again...and again!
Cookie bakingWe got new neighbours and Mr. J wanted to welcome them with chocolate chip cookies- Sleepover at grandparents
Swimmingwe did lots of swimming during our stay at The Brookstreet- Water Fight
Playing SoccerThe boys had fun playing soccer with their dad while he was on holidays- Upper Canada Village

Strawberry pickingfirst week of July is prime Strawberry picking around here- Reading 1 chapter book/week
Movie theaterwe saw Angry Birds as a family- Visit the Diefenbunker

- Visit a splash pad
- Driving range
- Mini golf
- Museum of Nature
- Picnic in the park
What a nice bucket list. I should make one for august.
