A Picture Recap of Our Victoria Day Weekend

Some pictures of our Long weekend :)

It started off a little early on Friday afternoon, after volunteering in Mr.J's class for a field trip, I let him leave with me afterwards instead of finishing off the rest of the day.  We had a starbucks date.

Hubby worked at my moms fixing up her back yard on Friday and Saturday, with a little help from Mr. K and I.  This was taken when we were done for the day

Mr. K and I walked to the park to meet a friend on Sunday morning, we spent a lot of time there and then on the way home he grabbed my hand (I am cherishing these rare moments, as I know they will eventually stop altogether)

When we got back from our first trip to the park (we ended up back later in the day for a couple of hours again) hubby and Mr. J were home with flowers and veggie plants.  Mr. K helped me in the back with the veggie garden, and Mr. J put the flowers into pots in the front yard

Since we re-seeded the entire yard a few weeks ago, the kids have spent more time in the front.  Last year a neighbour was giving away their basketball net, so Mr. J made sure we knew and we ended up with it.  The only issue is that it doesn't lower, so it is set quite high.  It took a little while for Mr. J to get a basket, but now he manages. Mr. K, however, has not been able to.  He has spent hours on the laneway shooting at the net and finally on the long weekend he made his first basket (and then continued to make them) he was SO excited and asked me to take this video
