If you have a child in high school in the US, then you will want to read about the Wendy's High School Heisman Program. The program is in place to help recognize the hard work and community involvement of students. It awards those students that have excelled in school, sports AND involvement throughout the community. Not only does it award those students that have shown integrity through their choices, but it also offers an incentive to other high school students to reach toward the same goals.
The committee presents the awards in December at the same time as the Heisman Memorial Trophy, during Heisman weekend in New York City.
