ugghhh....daylight savings and my children

I have never worried around the time change; my children have never really shown any effects from it....until this time.

We had a great few months of the boys waking between 730 and 830....it was wonderful. I could wake when I wanted and have lots of time to myself in the mornings. I was able to shower without an audience, have my breakfast in silence and catch up on my emails etc....now, however - they both wake up at 6:00am. So my nice mornings of waking up alone have gone by the wayside, and I am back to showering with an audience.

What about you? Are you or your children having a rough time adjusting to the clocks going back?

  2. I know what you mean! My son has been waking up at 6am (wide eyed!) the last couple of mornings. *yawn* lol. Luckily he just stays in his bed and plays with his stuffed animals until I tell him it's time to get up :)

  5. My kids are having a rough time with the time change. And yes, it has been early wake up calls here too. Especially hard on me as I have trouble sleeping myself and go to bed too late.

  11. I didn't change the clocks in the boys room. This way when I send them to bed a wee bit earlier... they think they're actually getting to stay up later than normal. I'll see how long it lasts before they clue in. :)

  12. My rest girl has been sick and extra sleepy. I don't think that is daylight savings time related. But she does not feel well. My younger dd never sleeps in. I am jealous of that .
