Boxing Day Shopping

Are you the type that braves the malls on Boxing Day looking for the best deals? or do you stay home snug and warm with your family?

Growing up I used to head out with my mom and dad if they were shopping, but as I got older I stopped - I really dislike crowds and line ups (which is why I try to be finished my shopping by December 1st).

Now, we stay home on boxing day and the kids play with their new toys. I tend to start taking the Christmas stuff down so that we have ROOM for their new toys.

If the weather is nice, we will play outside - otherwise when they get tired of playing we will throw on a new movie!

  1. I prefer to stay at home with my family on Boxing Day. A lot of the post Christmas sales are still available into the New Year.

  2. I cant resist a sale :) I dread the crowds (hence the fact I finish my Christmas shopping in November simply to avoid them) - but its worth it for the day :) I ended up getting a winter jacket on sale from $250 for $125!

    1. I did my shopping online in the morning, and then had the rest of the day to play with the kids!

  3. I love boxing day shopping. I am in the mall before 6 and out before 10 - no crowds and I get exactly what I want.

  4. I did some online shopping and did head to WalMart super early to pick up some Christmas lights and a few other Christmas items.
