Spring Time Fun

This winter seemed to last forever.  It was cold, and we were cooped up indoors much more than I would have liked.  There was more tv time and video games than we would normally allow, and we just wanted Spring to arrive.

IT IS HERE!!! Good Friday was a such an amazingly beautiful day!  Hubby and Mr. K spent time outside in the morning (they like to break up the snow/ice on the lawn into smaller pieces to help it melt faster) and Mr. J and I did some tidying inside.

We played the Game of Life and then hubby got our bikes tuned up and ready to go.  While he did that, the boys and I enjoyed some time in the back yard and then we headed out for our first bike ride of the year.

Mr. K learned how to pedal last year, so he was happy to be out on his bike.  I am *hoping* that he will be off training wheels by the end of the summer - then we can take advantage of all the trails that are close to our house!

In the Spring and Summer, we spend a LOT of time outside.  The kids play on the play structure, or soccer in the yard.  Bike riding, playing in the dirt and many trips to the park.  I am so looking forward to all of our adventures this year.
