2017 Reading List

I am happy to report that I well surpassed my 1 book per month last year. I lost count, but I think I ended up close to 30. I was trying to track the books I read, but ended up forgetting to write most of them down.

Right now I am kind of in a transition. I read the Outlander books and then when I finished In My Own Hearts Blood, I had nothing to read at home. It was Christmas night, so I had nowhere to go and get a book. I ended up starting the Twilight books again - which launched me back into the series and I read all 4 books and watched the 5 movies over a 5 day span.

Now, I need something new, and I always find it difficult to move on when I find a series that I can lose myself in.

The start of my reading list for the upcoming year:

  • Still Alice
  • See Me
  • First Comes Love
  • The Chemist
  • Born A Crime
  • Gone Girl
I have requested the books through the library, so need to wait till they come in.  I am also hoping to read the True Blood series and I am going to check out a few other authors that I have been recommended.

What are you reading right now? Do you have an author you would recommend?

  1. I really enjoyed "The Girl In Room 10". It is in the same category as Gone Girl.

  2. I adore reading! I am always going to the library which is conveniently located on the same street that I live on. I am in between books at the moment but am waiting on The Girl on the Train. I would highly recommend Henry Ripplinger's Angelic Letters Series of books. He is an amazing local author.
