The Canadian Tulip Festival Celebrates It's 65th Anniversary #giveaway

The Canadian Tulip Festival is back again in 2017 and is celebrating its 65th anniversary! This May you can join in the special festivities that are taking place in the Nation’s Capital.

The Tulip Festival is family friendly with many great events taking place for all ages. As with other years, you can spend time listening to live music, watching artists work and enjoying the magnificent beauty that more than 250,000 Tulips bring to Commissioners Park at Dow's Lake.

There are great photo's to be had and memories to make here. I remember taking Mr. J when he was about 10 months old. Trying to keep him from touching the flowers was difficult, but it was a lot of fun.

The National Capital Commission has offered up the Canada 150 Tulip, which is the official tulip for Canada's 150th anniversary. The Canada 150 tulips will be featured at this location, as well as the Queen Juliana Gift Bed.
