Crafts for Kids

A few months ago we received a great book from DK Canada, Big Book of Things To Make.  Mr. J and I went through the book, and came up with lots of activities for this summer.  The first one we tried out was making paper boats.

It was very simple to make - all we needed was some construction paper (we used 2 colours - one for Mr. J and one for Mr. K). We followed the pictorial on how to fold them and then we filled the kiddie pool with water and they got to play with them!

It was a really simple activity for the kids - and they had a lot of fun!

After the boats had become water logged and sank, we filled the pool with other plastic toys and they had fun using it as a water table!
