We just experienced an earthquake. I know that Ottawa has felt them before, but it's the first time for me. I was at work, and just as the floor/walls started to shake - the baby started to go nuts - kinda freaky.
Apparently it measured 5.5 on the richter scale, and the epicentre was just outside of ottawa, near buckingham quebec.
No major injuries, but some of the downtown buildings have cracks in them/bricks falling off.
I called my mom to see how Julien reacted, and apparently he thought that it was thunder!
